I was self-taught. I printed HTML, read it, changed things, and tried to work out what the browser would do before I hit refresh.

Since then I’ve been a developer, architect, delivery leader, practice builder, founder and CEO, and now CTO at Studio Science.

Most of my platform depth is in Salesforce Commerce. The actual work is broader: commerce, CRM, OMS, ERP, content, identity, payments, data, AI, and the teams trying to make all of it behave like one system.

The titles changed. I still want to know how the damn thing works.

The useful version.

Developer → architect → practice builder → founder/CEO → CTO. Different seats. Same need to understand what is really happening underneath.

Away from work

I’m a U.S. Air Force veteran, a former agency founder, and an old mountain man at heart. I ski, run, fish, read science fiction and philosophy, and try to get off the interwebs once in a while.

This site has a lot of technology on it. A conversation does not have to stay there.
